After your campaign begins, Hulu will bill you on a weekly basis for delivered impressions. Our system automatically charges on the 2nd, 10th, 18th, and 26th of the month.
Your credit card will be first charged on the next billing date after your campaign goes live. Our system automatically charges on the 2nd, 10th, 18th, and 26th of the month. Due to system processing times, if you schedule a campaign to begin the day before one of these automatic charge dates, we will begin charging you the next week (i.e. if your campaign starts on January 1, your first charge will be January 10 instead of January 2). We’ll send you a confirmation when you’re charged, and you can see all past charges by visiting your Transaction History (found under Account). Your first billing date will also be stated in the campaign summary.
Hulu bills only for delivered impressions using the CPM set for your campaigns at the time of their creation based on your selected targeting, flight dates, and inventory availability. You won’t be charged more than the budget you set over the course of your campaign, but you may be charged less depending on the number of impressions actually delivered.
If you pause or cancel your campaign, Hulu will stop delivering impressions. You will only be charged for delivered impressions, including any that run during the short period while we process your pause or cancellation request.
If you resume a paused campaign before it is scheduled to end, the regular billing schedule will resume based on the start date.
Sometimes campaigns don’t reach 100% of the purchased impressions due to the real-time changes in available impressions on Hulu’s website. In the event of under-delivery of impressions, you will only be charged for delivered impressions.
